Subject: People of Color Butoh Workshop - Spring Forward!
Dear Butoh Friends,
To celebrate spring, I'm scheduling a 3-hour POC Butoh Workshop very, very soon. Jeffrey Bihr's studio (in Oakland) is available on Friday evenings, Saturday afternoons, and our usual Sunday afternoon.
Please let me know what day is best for you. I love Sundays, but perhaps another day would be better for you?
I'm also asking that we honor ourselves as people of color who are using butoh to further ground our spiritual awakening. The origin of butoh in post-war Japan is very powerful for me; and its capacity to heal our wounds--personal & cultural--is our gift. Let's continue to support each other along this gentle path.
As in the past, I'm limiting the workshop to my very small e-list. However, please generously invite any friends who may be interested in joining us.
Thank you all so much! I look forward to your feedback.
If you have any questions, or are wondering "Why do she send this to me????" please email or call me.
love & gratitude,
judy
